This data is intended to provide insight to general sales trends in Lafayette and surrounding areas.  It shows Lafayette and Erie sales inventory reaching 2014 levels.  However, this data is understated because most newly built homes are NOT included in this data.  New construction throughout Erie, Anthem and now in Lafayette, contribute a substantial number of additional homes that are not reflected here.  With rising inventory in both re-sale and new homes, it is a great time to shop for your new home!

Single Family Home Prices

Home values have continued to rise.  By the end of 2017 price appreciation is expected to slow to a more sustainable pace.  For buyers, purchasing a home in Boulder County will continue to be a good investment.  For sellers, we are at the tail end of a long up cycle and we are entering a more balanced market where homes will take longer to sell.  If you have been thinking about selling, now is a good time to do it.

Attached Home Prices

Prices for townhomes and condos have risen even faster as buyers seek entry level and more affordable housing.
